Now stripped down to the frameset after I had originally built it up with a Campy Chorus 10sp gruppo. It appears to be a custom built frameset for a racer, dating from the early 90's. Though the paint job matches that of the "Astra" model, there's no Columbus tubeset sticker, and the fork is a custom-sourced Sakae fork, which feels considerably lighter than your typical Columbus fork. The frameset is either a Columbus Nivachrome tubeset (like EL-OS), which the Astra models were built of, or at least SLX. The frameset is super stiff and surprisingly light for its size. The geo is very tight, like a track bike. The main issue is that there is quite a bit of rust on the top-tube, which is under the paint and will need to be addressed. My plan is to have it sandblasted at some point.
