great bike but the chain is slow
Posted about 11 years ago
Are you asking about the chain tension? The chain tension is fine, it's better to run it loose for track use.

you like Rolf Prima Vigor FX ???
how it ride?

In my opinion it's too rough for the streets. Maybe I'm just a sissy though. Fantastic on the track, nice n stiff.

Great looking bianchi ! wish Ive owned one! was actually thinking of getting one also! Just wondering what do YOU recommend on a rear tire for street use...
Posted over 11 years ago
For street use I would only use Continental Gatorskins. They're a bit on the heavy side weighing in at 280g but they are extremely puncture and abrasion resistant and have long lives. If you plan on racing though you may want to opt out for GP 4Seasons since it's the same tire with less rubber. Saves 30g

I think its one of the best super pista i've ever seen. Where'd you get those wheels?

Can't see it in the photo, but underneath in small font it says, "SPEED ISN'T EVERYTHING."

Great looking Super Pista! Those Rolfs look sweet on there! Are they pretty stiff wheels?
Posted over 11 years ago
Yeah, they're ridiculously stiff. Not particularly keen on street riding them, but they're fantastic on the track.

Whys u switch from the messenger crank?
Posted about 10 years ago
Milc says:
Messengers flex a lot. Try switching to a higher tier crankset (Sugino 75, Sram Omnium, Shimano DuraAce, Campagnolo Super Record) and it'll be a night and day difference when it comes to power transfer.
