Nice! So far I think your bike is the only other Populo Quest on here besides mine. After some parts upgrades it's a decent bike for the money.

I agree, it's a hell of a deal for a 4130 chromoly frame! Even though I changed almost everything on the bike still great frame-set even for the $299 I paid.

I just picked up one of these cheap and so far so good. Built up with mostly spares as a flat bar beater. The fork is heavy as hell but the frame aint bad.

I find the fork very good, yes a bit heaver if you compare it to a Surly fork but quality wise it takes a beating. However I prefer a bit of front heavy for stability, I'm used to riding with a handlebar bag with my camera anyways, doesn't affect my style at all.
