I bought this C4 from the first owner who used it for the last time in 1996. Since then it had been stored in his garage. C4 was an Italian brand and one of the first to built monocoque carbon frames. Originally it had a mix of Campagnolo Record and Athena components. I replaced the Athena parts with Record and Record Titanium. If you have more information about C4 and this specific model, please let me know. Pics by Matt Leasegang

I bought a black C4 Air One frame new in 1995. I have been riding it ever since. I started with ultegra groupo but since have changed because I wore out the first Ultegra, I changed to a 9 speed version and changed the wheels to Mavic Helium. The seat post is carbon and so are the handlebars. The seat is a San Marcos AspidTi. I don't know how many thousand miles I have on the frame. But the bike is in good shape still.
