My new project, I just threw some parts on to see how it fits. Going to strip and repaint it. **Finished it up. I was talked out of repainting it. It's a stiff and harsh ride but fast and nimble. I've been doing some research originally I was told the frame was from '97, but it looked too old, I think it's actually a '92.

The paint is pretty trashed. If it was in better shape i would leave it.

i say, top coat it with clear finish..
don't remove the paint.. the beauty is there, no matter how scratched and dinged she is..
repainting only reduces it's value

I have some plans for this bike. I'm going to experiment with Campy shifters and a SRAM drivetrain. I just need to pick up a 10 speed cassette from work.
