Raleigh of America Olympian

Picked this up the other day from a junk pile on the side of the road and cleaned and tuned it up, and replaced a few things. A little rusty, it could use a strip and repaint, but I love the original purple.

Frame:
Raleigh Olympian- Raleigh 575sl tubing

Fork/Headset:
OE fork, headset from the parts bin

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Sakae SA crank w/ FSA 50/34t rings. OE sealed bottom bracket

Pedals:
Wellgo

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
FSA 50/34 chainrings, Shimano 14-28 7 speed freewheel, KMC Z-51 chain

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano Altus LT derailleurs. Shimano DT shifters

Handlebars/Stem:
OE bars w/ Raleigh logo and Americam flag engraved on the sleeve, I believe they are made by Sakae. Medallion Kusuki 1000 stem

Saddle/Seatpost:
Bontrager RL saddle SR Laprade post

Brakes:
Diacompe 500 calipers. Diacompe Edge levers

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Sansin hub, Sun Mistral rim, Forte Strada 27x 1 1/4

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
OE Raleigh sealed hub, OE Raleigh rim made by Araya, Forte Strada

Current Stage Info:

The 13-21 6 speed was not working out too well, so I switched to a 14-28 7 speed and it seems a lot better.
