What kind of grips on the risers?
Posted over 11 years ago
Did you cut them down? Where did you find them without the "handstops" on the inside?
Posted over 11 years ago
Hey man how are the open pros treating you? I have a rear and I use that for riding around by I was thinking about buying a mavic ellipse Wheelset. I need help to decide to buy an open pro front or the ellipse Wheelset
Posted over 11 years ago
I honestly think you should go with the open pros. I love mine and haven't had any problems at all. They still ride as day one :D

Thanks man!... I am loving your Histo with the white Zoncolan saddle.
Posted over 11 years ago
Weow I'm losing my breath going through all these pictures. Very good build and nice having all 3 types of bars! Gotta have options right?
Posted over 11 years ago
How tall are you? Im 6'0" and I'm planning on buying a 53 cm too
Posted over 11 years ago
I would say to try one out before buying and see which one feels best for you.
Posted over 11 years ago
im the same height, and i felt that a 55 was a tiny bit too small.. i would have to go with a 55 with setback and a long stem
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks for the help.i ended up getting the 09 mash frame in a 55.i got measured and I actually ended up being 5"10 so it for perfect
Posted over 11 years ago
I only like the wheels (:
Posted almost 12 years ago
What do you have against the histo? lol.. Thanks though, I am glad you like my wheelset at least lol.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I dont have anything against the frame. I PERSONALLY just don't like it because of reasons.
Posted almost 12 years ago
It does make sense. I don't have anything against, doesn't mean I have to like it breehhhh.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Stylin! Nice pics and I really dig the risers on there too.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks man I appreciate it! The risers do seem to look and feel better on the Histo.
Posted almost 12 years ago
yes, I've seen this before ^___^

cjdavid you are a stalker, and no I'm not gay but there's nothing wrong with being gay so its not much of an insult

Great build! Looks good. Next time you mount a tire, try to line up the valve with the label on the tire. It's a little thing that looks good, and is usefully. If you get a flat, you can check where the hole on the tube is, and then figure out where on the tire the issue is.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks!... I have always done that, but I was in a hurry that morning to get to work and I wanted to ride it to work as well so I just slapped them on. When I get a chance though I am going to line them up, because It bugs me too lol.
Posted almost 12 years ago
wuddup my dude!! been riding?? i havnt rode for like over 2 months!! lol stop winter season in nyc! and work all the time and stupid cod lol
Posted almost 12 years ago
Whats up bro! Yea I have still been riding a lot even in the cold crappy weather lol... Two months is a lot, you have to try and get back out there and ride a bit man xD
Posted almost 12 years ago
yea i actually finished watching Premium Rush the movie.. and made me wanna ride again lol.. check out the movie if you haven't yet
Posted almost 12 years ago
I went to go see it the first day it came out lol. Its actually a pretty good movie.
Posted almost 12 years ago
hows the mash? which is better for you? mash or vigo? coz im considering to buy them. but some people say mash flexes while vigo is more stiff
Posted almost 12 years ago
I have to say both ride great for me. The vigorelli is definitely more relaxed compared to the mash. That said I love my mash, despite it being more of an aggressive geo I still find it very comfy and smooth.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Haven't noticed any problems with my mash and feels stiff to me.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Its good to see this thing put together! It looks really good and I'm happy to see it so modestly built. Good job!
Posted almost 12 years ago
so finally after all of the waiting time ,, the build is finally done ! love it bro ! simply amazing ! CINELLI BROS !

road bars+clipless and your onto a no frills speed machine :)
Posted about 12 years ago
I do have 3t Ergonova drops I just have them on my Concept right now lol... and I have some look keo pedals as well, but use cages more.
Posted about 12 years ago
I love riding clippless is just that I like riding straps a bit more on fixed and having shoes to walk around when making quick stops with the buddies.
Posted about 12 years ago
I use Sidi mtb shoes with spds, can walk, skid, skirmish with out floppy trainers, there best of both worlds.
Posted about 12 years ago
please!! not the mavic wheels!!!!!!! anything but there common, off the peg and boring. otherwise sweet build
Posted about 12 years ago

Posted about 12 years ago
Yea lol.. I fell in love with this beauty. I am trying to sell my Vigorelli though to build a road bike
Posted about 12 years ago
if you decide you want to sell the concept instead, ill be interested!
nice looking build you got going...
Posted about 12 years ago
My concept is a keeper sorry... and thanks! I am excited to finish her up :D
Posted about 12 years ago
You should build a Campy Omega aero to HF Phil Wood wheelset, then run all silver components and get a black suede Concor and black Fizik Microtex bar tape. It would be PERFECT!
Posted about 12 years ago
That does sound like a sweet idea ;)... what do you think of this wheelset on craigslist? I was thinking of buying it....
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/322...
Posted about 12 years ago
Shiiit that's a good deal. I have those same hubs on my GT and the same rims on my Bianchi, both are great!!
Posted about 12 years ago
And I'm not really the right person to ask about modern road bars, since I have no threadless setups (yet)
Posted about 12 years ago
I might go get them this week :D... As for drops I was thinking some 3T Ergonova Pro, but I have to go check them out... Are you looking to build another bike up soon?
Posted about 12 years ago
There's a used custom carbon frameset that's at my shop, and it's exactly my size. I've talked the owner down from his original price, but I still have a lot of saving to do. I'll reveal more details later!
Posted about 12 years ago
Oh SWEET!... well looking forward to seeing ur new future project.
Posted about 12 years ago
I would choose sg75 cranks plus mavic OP / Archetype rims!
Posted over 12 years ago
Yea I think I am going with sg75. As for wheel set I am leaning more towards mavic ellipse as of now.
Posted over 12 years ago
and eventually you chose Mavic Open Pro hhaha :) sweet build buddy keep pedaling!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Honestly so far I think they are great! they seem to feel very strong and cant complain about how light they are.
Posted almost 12 years ago
wow thats really nice opinion! so they're strong and light? I just knew open pros are light, you said
Posted almost 12 years ago
how do I get a pair of Open pros here in my country....it's hard to find
Posted almost 12 years ago
I would like to see this Histo with full DA setup :D
Posted over 12 years ago
Plus with Mavic OP. Aaaahhhh I wish it's mine ahaha btw, check out my Pake.
Posted over 12 years ago
I would never get bored of getting modern aluminum track bikes haha I would get them allll! Your building yourself a nice stable sir :) Whats your ideas for this one?!
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks Neilskees ;).... Well I am looking to get some mavic ellipse for this one and some sugino 75. I am also looking to go with 3t components. I want to make it murdered out black xD
Posted over 12 years ago
Sounds legit! Cant wait to see the complete build sir. Sounds like its going to be fast :). Are you going to put the mash bullhorns on this build?!
Posted over 12 years ago
Yea for sure FAST! lol... yea the mash bullhorns are going on this and I am getting some road drops for my Vigo.
Posted over 12 years ago
don't you ever get bored of having just modern aluminum track bikes?
Posted over 12 years ago
Its not that... I just got a good deal from a buddy so it was unexpected. Plus I am looking to sell one in the future to build a road bike. And I have other bikes aside from aluminum.
