I decided to buy a new track frame, as was unable to find anything second hand that I was happy with. this one fits like a glove and rides like a dream.
Frame:
2009 Cinelli SC Pista.
Fork/Headset:
Cinelli fork mounted with a Campagnolo Record headset.
Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Campagnolo Record crankset mounted by a Campagnolo Pista cupset with a Campagnolo 111mm spindle. Arms mounted with Ti bolts.
Pedals:
Campagnolo / Look silver alloy.
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Miche 15T, Campagnolo 48T with Wipperman Connax 9X1 SS chain. I lube with hi volume Silicon spray.
Derailleurs/Shifters:
n/a.
Saddle/Seatpost:
Specialized Avatar BG 143mm seat mounted on a Campagnolo SR 2 bolt seatpost with OMAS alloy bolt/nuts & alloy supports & clamps.
Brakes:
n/a.
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Velocity Aero rim mounted to a custom Campagnolo Hi Lo hub made from 2 hubs via SS spokes shod with Vittoria super speed clincher tyres inflated with Conti race 700C tube.
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Velocity Aero rim mounted to a custom altered Campagnolo Hi Lo road hub converted to fixed wheel via SS spokes shod with Vittoria super speed clincher tyres inflated with Conti race 700C tube.

Thanx, I don't know what would be better, maybe something lighter, this thing is built for sprinters, I've never flexed this frame at all......

thanx for the comments, the rear was a converted Campagnolo road hub, I just made a matching front hub. I've since made 2 new 28H wheelsets, these hi/lo hubs are sold awaiting payment.....

Cool, I just meant what's the purpose?? I guess it kind of makes sense in the rear... Maybe the drive side would benefit from the higher flange wall, and the overall weight saving, although minute, could be significant in regards to rotational mass.

being a road hub, the flanges have different offsets, so to overcome this they made the flanges different diameters so that the spoke angles would be the same allowing a more equal spoke tension.....
