More Info:
My second Colnago after the Master X Light; ridden and raced vigorously; now in “retirement” and set up for long rides in the mountains; 26mm tires on the Stans is about as wide as I can go here with the chainstay clearance, but that has been enough to handle some rough stuff; switched to a medium cage RD on the rebuild to handle a wider range on the cassette- when paired with the 50/34 crankset it can handle the long, steep Appalachian climbs it frequents. Still truckin’ after 20 something years!
