Rare as hen's teeth Colnago track bike.History ,as yet, unknown-only know that it belonged to an old track rider from Frankfurt. Paint and decals appear original. I've wanted to own a Colnago since I was a teenager- now at 51 I've finally fulfilled that wish-isn't that what middle age is for?
Frame:
57.5 ctc Colnago Mexico style Pista. Four crimps on both top and down tubes, none on seat tube or chainstays. Very tight geometry with heaps of toe overlap. Stamped H6R on the right dropout, which would indicate August 1986-what"R" stands for I don't know yet. Usually there's a three digit number following the month/year code. An initial? Whose?
