the sheriffs laced to the MA40's are killer. I had the same set up. you have good taste!

thanks! i bought this set used from a friend of mine... don't know where he got em. they supposedly were NOS and just built up. i'm not sure i believe that... haha... but anyway... they're awesome! and you know, it's weird, i've seen lots of sheriff stars laced to ma40s... don't know why that is.

they probably have really low miles on them. that's usually the case with these. but I know, it's crazy! I think it's because MA40's were the rims of choice for clincher set ups. they're period correct, solid, very durable and fairly lightweight for box section rims. especially for these hubs, this is just a very desirable wheel set up overall.

and thanks! I love my cinelli so much. this particular one is extremely rare too. I got a really good deal on it complete and it has most of it's original parts which is awesome. the paint, decals and chrome are all in really nice shape too, thankfully!

they look great, but i'm always scared to ride on them. i do anyway, but it'd suck real bad to break one. i figure if i never get them wet and never hit any potholes, i'll be ok...
Posted over 12 years ago
so you could say they are fragile? and you did break 'em once?
Posted over 12 years ago
supposedly they break a lot. i've never broken one personally, but this is the only set i've ever had.
Posted over 12 years ago
oh I see, don't you dare to broke one man lol, well go build another wheel set man!
