Love the wheel set man! I have a real similar setup. Great frame

Thanks! Yeah this wheelset rolls smooth and is really light. We almost do have the same set up haha.

Why a 48:16? I mean its an ok ratio but for the track. For the street it's a bad idea. It only has one skid patch. I'd recommend getting either a 15t or 17t cog. Better then the 16t.

i dont skid as much as people tend to do. i like this ratio, i know its a weird ratio to run but hey, i can keep up with some pretty fast people.

Dude you should try a sugino zen chainring and some crononeros with aerobars!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Sugino zen is overplayed i want something different also i really dont like bullhorns or aerobars. I like the compacts that i have.
Posted over 11 years ago
I had some profile design pursuit bullhorns before but i never liked them. I like the compacts way better

I loved my TK3 (had the same year/color). This is a really really nice build too :)

Whats the frame size?
Posted about 12 years ago
exactly 6 foot. fits me perfect, don't really care what other people say about getting a different frame.
Posted about 12 years ago
Your set up is really nice! Can this bike fit a 55t chainring? Im planing to get one like this!
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks! Dont really know if it can but i think it will. Its a great frame, very stiff and responsive. Good luck on your next build.

Sweet build indeed.
Posted about 12 years ago
thanks aha you have the same crank and chainring setup that i want. like your dolan.
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks man. It's my favorite part of the bike and I totally recommend it. Blackspire makes some quality chain rings if you're watching your dollars.
Posted about 12 years ago
yeah i have been intrested in thier chainrings. also how do you like your ratio 52-17 i think. is it good on street and hills?
Posted about 12 years ago
Yeah 52-17 is pretty fun to ride. Fairly easy on flats and good to bomb down hills since I don't spin as much. It's a little tiring to climb on especially from a stopped position though.
