Found an excellent condition 7700 groupset for cheap, so I decided to give the bike a period-correct groupset. Previous owner of the groupset put SRP titanium bolts everywhere, which I don't mind at all :) Better pics to follow.

So the battery was in the saddle bag?

No, I got an external battery case designed to be used with XTR Di2 that mounts using your bottle cage bosses. It's pretty well hidden in most of these driveside photos but in the non-driveside shot you can see it under my water bottle.
