Established in the 90ties InBike was a small company were some of the specialist who built the Textima bikes came together to continue the tradition of the Textima steel frame racers. The InBikes are a carefully evolution of their famous ancestors which caused a furore in international competitions. When you sit on an InBike you breathe the Olympic air of the eighties the Textima machines aimed to seize. The similarities of the Textimas and the InBikes are obvious though the later ones are not pushing to the upmost extremes necessary to win Olympic gold. But the precision and the quality of the construction remained the same. To me InBike and Textima machines belong to the most beautiful steel frames of the post-lug era. The craftsmanship is impressive. Whithersoever your eyes go on that frame they get pleased. Technology meets aesthetics. Enthusiasm and knowledge form art. It is a perfect symbiosis of form and function. You wish you could have been at the workshop together with the master to have attended the dawn of this machine. I can sit hours looking at it and it feels like a second. It rides amazing and makes you forget the hours of pain in your legs. You simply don’t want to stop riding it. You start wondering if you carry enough of money to bribe the gatekeeper of your velodrome in order to keep on flying this machine. This beauty was built at the end of the nineties. Thanks to the previous owners it is in perfect condition.
