Fast Bike to compliment my Brooklyn. It is a fixed gear with dual brakes. It's my training and fast bike. I love it for any distance. Like my BMW I'm thinking about buying the same exact frame and just shelving it until this one fails on me because it is simply perfect for what I ask it to do.

the painting is great! Is it a wet paint finish done by a professional? Or have you done it by yourself?

It was professionally done but it is just a simple gloss black.

Your build really inspires me for my next upgrade.. Dual brakes it is then hahaha
Posted over 12 years ago
Hahaha... but you'll have to have your fork drilled or buy a new one.

Damn this is cool! I wish I could run two brakes on my GT..

Thanks Man... You have some real cool bikes yourself. I'm in Japan so we are supposed to ride with 2 brakes but I'm not complaining, just more ways to stop.

good looking bike! and looks like you prefer the 3t compact bend bar to the fsa one. any comments on both?
Posted over 12 years ago
I have nothing against the FSA Compact bars. They were great, just too narrow at 40cm.

Loved your build.
Gotta agree with you. Its stiff&light, even so it still manages to be comfortable. I got no regrets that i bought this instead of the mash bolt

very sensible, i like it!

Thanks. It's set up this way so I can go balls out fast. Well as fast as I can go, at least.

That wheelbase is so tight. You dont have toe overlap, but foot overlap lol
Posted over 12 years ago
it's not as bad as it looks though(or maybe it is), I guess we all learned when we first got into fixed gears/track bikes how to deal with toe overlap.

build a roadie instead of buying a duplicate frame. You won't regret the decision and you will understand the usefulness of a true distance machine.

Thanks! Yes, there is a rear brake bridge and those are the anodized TB14s.

Yeah, it was definitely fast. It was a blast to ride it on the Velodrome in Osaka too. It really felt at home there.
