You rode a 95.4 ratio how fast could you go? I mean I have a big gear ratio of 82.6 but that one puts mine to shame. That's just crazy.

Looks like an 8Bar frame set.
Ya heard of em? Anyone?
Posted about 10 years ago
You mean the 8Bar looks like the Kagero. KAGEROS wer Meade before 8Bar Krzberg was even invented

How did you like the original fork compared to the leader fork on this??
Posted almost 12 years ago
that 105TR fork looks sooooo sick on this.... I love the Tri spoke... Get a nice Carbon 90mm and damn that bike is unbeatable
Posted almost 12 years ago
I honestly love the way the Kagero looks because it looks like a Cinelli Mash haha.

Hey Faz, need some advice from you. My height is around 169cm, would a kagero 50cm be fine for me?
i am intending to build a h+son archetype wheelset with DT Swiss spoke along with Phil Wood High Flange 32 hole hub. Will 32 hold be suffice for my weight of 70kg?
Also i have heard stories bout some Sram Omniums unable to fit onto Kagero, do you have any problem with that prior to first installation?
Would appreciate if you could help out. Thanks a million!

How was the clearance from your chainring when you had the 53T on? I wanna put a 50T on my Kagero, but I'm not sure if 50 would be too big. I have a 48T on right now, and it's about 5mm away from the chainstay.
Posted over 12 years ago
No problem with the clearance at all. you can use the chain size up to 53.
Posted over 12 years ago
Of all your frames - LOOK 464, Kagero, LOW// and TREK. Which do you prefer for races and which is stiffer?
Posted over 12 years ago
How are you liking that Pro Vibe Mark Cavendish Handlebar? Know any out there similar to it?
Posted over 12 years ago
Hey Faz, were did you buy your Kagero Frameset?
Posted over 12 years ago
My guess is that it was a gift being that he's on the Kagero team, but I could be wrong....
Posted over 12 years ago
Hi Faz, can I know which shop did you bought your Thomson X2 stem from? Thanks!
Posted over 12 years ago
Hey faz...
May i know what is the largest chainring that you have tried on kegero with omnium...
I was thinking of using segino zen 55t...
Posted over 12 years ago
hey an love the build
just wondering how tall are you as im thinking of getting this frame
Posted over 12 years ago
seems like a lot of great riders use randos! are they really good for the street and are they thick so they can last longer? whats your opinion for back tires?
Posted almost 13 years ago
ribmo's are great. lots of people are turned off by rando's since you can only get them in wire bead. hence they can be very hard to get on and off. but they really are the best for street riding.
Posted over 12 years ago
great bike!just want to ask, what stem are you using?
Posted almost 13 years ago
its a thomson x2 on the main photo.
and a deda stem on the other (close up shot)
Posted almost 13 years ago
great looking bike! where'd you get the Velocity A23, Faz?
Posted almost 13 years ago
From a friend of mine. But you can email smartbikeparts.com and ask them if its still available.
Posted almost 13 years ago
wher'd u get that mark cav's pro bar?
Posted almost 13 years ago
Bought it from our local bike store. The best bar I ever had. Go get it!
Posted almost 13 years ago
How do you like the Keo Blades? I'm in the market for some clipless road pedals. Worth it over some of the more affordable Keos?
Posted almost 13 years ago
Love em! I personally think Blade is the best pedal available in the market. Super stiff and it set to the highest tension. Meaning less floating on my foot. If you're looking for something affordale, go for Keo Max 2. I had this pedal before and it work very well for me.
Posted almost 13 years ago
Just curious how tall you are? Cause I wanna get a kagero also but dont know what size. Thanks!
Posted almost 13 years ago
Are you not worried that riding such huge gear inches on the street will ruin your knees? Not to mention it seems very dangerous, trying to pull up 95gi in a hurry might not work so well.
Posted about 13 years ago
Yes I do. Im running this for my track use. I have so many chainring at home and usually i run 50 x 16 for the street use.
Posted about 13 years ago
Any particular reason why you sold this bike? What did you not like about it?
Posted about 13 years ago
hey i want ask you something, if you use toe clip, what you recommend?
Posted about 13 years ago
Hey man. I would definately go for SAG life straps. MKS Sylvan Stream with Zefal Christophe Double cage.
Posted about 13 years ago
Awesome bike faz! :)
Hey, may i know the width of your road bar?
Thanks a lot!
Posted about 13 years ago
thankyou for actually putting on your chainring the right way. i hate when people put it on covering up half of one of the "shimanos".
sick build bro, liking the ratio? ;]
Posted about 13 years ago
Nice set up! How long are the Deda Zero drop bars? 42?
Many thanks, I am thinking about to get ones.
Posted about 13 years ago
Awesome bike faz! Just had a quick question though. Were the omnium bolts too long for your chainring? I just ordered the same chainring as well and was wondering if the bolts were going to be an issue.. thanks :)
Posted about 13 years ago
Hey man. Thanks! Appreciated it. Yes. You need to change yours to Sugino's chainbolt on order to use Sugino Zen or Shimano Zen
Posted about 13 years ago
Do you ride at the track? I don't quite understand this bike
Posted about 13 years ago
thats awesome! i want to put some compact drops on my bike eventualy, I love the feeling on my road bike...

Beautiful! And nice gear ratio too! Does this get ridden on the street too? Or do you ride the look for street riding?
Posted over 13 years ago
Ofcourse I'll be riding this both on street and track. I personally think it's too early to say anything about it. But im telling you this beast is going to be wild!

AlexPGalindo says:
Hi brother. How are you?
Greetings from Mexico.
I saw your video in VIMEO about of your Kajero 2011 build.
I have the same frameset, but I have a problem: I need know what crankset and rear hub are suitable to obtain a good chainline.
Please can you help me. ???
Posted over 8 years ago
Valiantist says:
Any track type of crankset and hubs will do the job. Example: SRAM Omnium (crankset), Phil Wood, Mack, Dura Ace, Novatec (hubs), etc. Other than that, you need to choose the right bottom bracket size/type for the crankset (eg. English/Italian thread) and low/high flange type for the hubs.
Posted about 8 years ago
TRACKSHARK says:
Go for SUGINO 75...The last answer is wrong. SRAM OMNIUMS WILL NOT WORK ON THIS FRAME SET
