Only interested to see what kind of offers I get. Unless I get an offer I cannot refuse, this bad boy is a keeper ;)

It's not even worth it to diss you any more man.. One day you're going to hit a pothole, or get clipped, or any number of other possible mishaps could occur, and you'll probably damage your frame, or wheelset beyond repair; but the end-result will be the same: you will regret spending the amount of money you did on such a frivolous thing that you put to no-good-use.

I don't, and have never really, understood how I am 'police' or 'fixie police'. Would you care to explain that?
Posted almost 11 years ago
But why? You can't just keep calling me names without reason.....

Because man, we all get it by now that you have a particular distaste for crazy track machines on the street. But you don't need to constantly rage about it. Like I've suggested to you before, go smoke a bowl and chill. Live and let live.

I do man, I do. I live in Cali, what else is there to do other than smoke a bowl and chill? I don't rage, if I were speaking the words I write I would be speaking in a perfectly calm-tone, perhaps even a pleading tone. Because in the end it comes down to the fact that I care about people, and what they do with their hard-earned money. What some do, like DocLarch, is spend several thousand dollars on a bike that will likely crack if ridden on the street. Another thing that irks me is the fact that they spend that several thousand dollars on a track bike, when they could be spending it on a road bike.

KRS One's sweet but that song especially gets stuck in my head for days, so that's a no-go haha.

@flossraptor, while I agree that's it's his bike to do with as he pleases, once you decide to post it up on the internet you also become fair game to any and all criticism. And, tbh, showing off just how much disposable cash you have laying around never sits well with me.

... guys, really?
... don't waste your time here... have a laugh instead and i'm sure that most of the people who know what's going on and see that bike in the street will do the same... well, i know i would...

CUMBOT you critiqued me a few months back about using two brakes on my single speed bikes. How is this different?
Posted almost 11 years ago
... there is no difference... just waiting for someone who will drill his carbon track frame just to make it street-legal...

So much hate for someone riding an expensive bike on the street. How is this any different than someone riding a stock $5k-$10k road bike on the street? Its not. Its just his preference over a geared road bike. If this was a Leader with an aerospoke and a back brake he'd be getting just as much shit. So damned if you do, damned if you don't. Just appreciate the fact that this awesome frame has a good home, is built up properly and is clearly very much appreciated by the person riding/owning it. Perfect build man.

Damn if you do, damned if you don't? The fuck are you talking about? You must be new here, because if you go on 95% of bike pages here, there won't be so-called 'hate'. I've already explained my stance and why I take it; it has nothing to do with hate, you fool. If someone had a leader with an aerospoke an a brake, I wouldn't mind at all, because that's not the same. That's a $700 bike, not a $5,000 bike. And about the expensive stock road bike: I have no problem with because road bike are designed to withstand riding on a road, hitting potholes, cracks, etc. Track frames were designed to be on a track, so the pressure points are set differently, meaning that many weak spots are susceptible to cracking. We can week going around and around, but I've explained myself fully, and if you can't understand my viewpoint from what I've written throughout this page, then just stop trying.

bikes are created to be used, not to be in a glass case, much respect my friend driving your bike down the street, down the runway as if you want to cyclocross with it, if you have purchased is your property and can do with it as much as you want

Aw thanks man, I can't accept it though. I don't accept charity from those less fortunate. Merry Christmas buddy!

This really is a dope bike, but to use it on the street is just wrong.
