Thanks. Depends if it's a reissue or an original. If you have an original its great, nice and flexy. I also stripped a reissue and the shell material is way thicker and less flexy so i wouldn't bother.

No problem. Once the leather and foam was off I trimme the mold lines with a Stanley knife, then wet sanded it with 600, 400 and 1000 grit paper. They can polish up quite nicely if you take your time.
