This was a former pro's bike with lots of creaks to prove it was sufficiently thrashed. The frame was stripped, repaired, polished, and powder-coated with copper candy to try to achieve the chromovelato look. The attempt wasn't too successful, but so what, the cutaway tubing is still pretty cool.
