Try using a seat post QR rack. Not beautiful but very functional and it's on/off in 10 secs. Works fine on my Axis.

I've heard thats a solid idea. May try it in the future but for now I see no reason I want to take my rack off.

I meant if you ever wanted to add a rear rack(you mentioned no rear eyelets). Two racks are twice as good. Cheers.

Cool deal, bummer about no eyelets for a rear fender.. Seems like it would make a solid commuter..

I use it for messenger work in downtown chicago, or have for a few days and its a sold commuter/workhorse.

How do you like it.?

Just picked it up the other day off craigslist. So far so good. Crankset and tires were upgraded but I can say its pretty nice. Its a heavier bike. probably 22lbs but the wheels make up a lot of the weight. Its responsive and the stock BB5 brakes are really responsive.
It has eyelets for a front fender, but not a rear. Thats my only real complaint.

Yeah man. For this maybe a month and a half ago. Pretty solid beater bike but pretty heavy.
Currently working with Snap Courier doing mostly food/catering and some package work.
