Why are you selling?

Too many steel frames in the stable. I want to try a CAAD or SuperSix.

Are those black Archetypes with the lettering rubbed out or the gray ones that just look dark in the photos?
Posted about 8 years ago
Grey.
They recently changed the name of the color from 'Hard Anodized' to just 'Grey,' but I'm not sure which ones these are, and I haven't compared them to any others yet to see if there is a difference.

I actually thought they discontinued the hard anodized color for the archetypes but kept it for TB14s. Good to see it's back, would probably work on a road project of mine. Great bike, btw, too bad you have to sell.

Y 4 sale?

Doesn't fit as well as I had hoped. Also the MX Leader rides even better than I imagined.

Yeah, the TT looks huge. Well, I'm sorry you went to all that trouble to build it up only to have it fall through. The Merckx is absolutely lovely!

So good! I love the look of the Stradas on this bike!

A+++++
Swiss Army bike -- could be a great randoneeuring machine as is, or small tweaks to race, grind, commute, whatever.

For sure!
I'm super stoked that this clears 28s (in the fork - even more clearance in back) and the ride is incredible.

Thank you much. This build has been in the works for months, and my patience totally paid off. So excited to give it a good rip tonight.

this sounds rad - interested to see how the fade powder coat turns out

Me, too. Groody Brothers have done a ton of great work for my friends and local framebuilders. Check out their Facebook or Pedalino Bikes for some dope samples.

The powder company recommended against the fade, as different varieties of powder tend not to blend well. I designed a two-tone finish instead, which came out really well.
