More Info:
The frame needed to be refinished with new decals.
The derailleurs, brakes & seatpost were sent to Somec in Itlay for engraving in early 2015. The chainring and cinelli stem are both vintage. I repainted all the pantographed parts with enamel in a fluid writer over 2 days.

this is a newbie question...but how do you guys source these classic parts?

Really glad this got to be featured. Ended up talking to a guy running the Somec booth at Inter-bike. Really great guy who talked highly of Somec and has frames from the family. He featured his track bike at the show and the craftsmanship is just so beautiful. Awesome to hear how you were able to send your components to them and get them engraved/ painted.

Just awesome! The paintjob, the full panto and the rare Multishape tubing! Is engraving really expensive?

thanks, engraving was expensive but worth it. customs in and out of Italy was nearly 40% extra on top though which was the real killer.

The care you took in the build is fully represented in the result. She's beautiful.
