how did it come up to 20lbs? was the frame heavy?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah, Triple triangle frames are known to be a little heavier then a traditional frame because the seat stays are around 2-3 inches longer(more tubing). Plus the wheels were 36h.

oh, okay. my wheels are 36h too and my frame is just some tig welded and it's still under 17lbs.
but i still bet i rode beautifully. cool man

How much did this cost from spicer to be custom made?
Posted almost 12 years ago
$509 for the frame only. The price is great considering that LDG Charges the same amount for a non custom frame made of the same material. I chose him because I heard he was the most affordable custom builder. But keep in mind this is just 4130 Cromo. I'm sure something made of Aluminum or Ti would be more expensive.

Damn that's pretty good bro and how long did it take from order time to delivery?
Posted almost 12 years ago
A little more then two weeks, but it might take longer depending on how busy he is.

wasn't it custom made for you?

The geometry was based on a 54 1998 GT Pulse not my measurements. Kind of stupid on my part.
