Yes to a coaster, have one on a clipless "track"frame, love it(as long as you have other real bikes). And glad others still think good of Lance. Not all white or black but like most of life, shade of gray.

Yeah, the only thing that remains from the original build is the frame itself. The rest of the parts have all been replaced.

so sad to know it that your current setup using coaster brake. but at least it is YOURS. i'm just saying. cheers up buddy! :)

I didn't want any foot retention (like clipless, or toe clips, or straps) so it was either coaster brake or hand brake and I like the aesthetics of the handlebars with no levers more.

yeah i know about it, i was just like you at first but i think i'm in love with fixed gear. :) anyway. about shimano coaster, is it have a good spin?

My fixed geared bikes are for different purposes. The Shimano spins well, I really enjoy it. It takes a bit of time to wear in, but it's great.

Coaster brake (or a back pedal brake) is a brake where you back pedal and it engages the brake that is in the rear hub slowing you down and stopping you.
