The only bike I own. Built it my self and I'd never take it to a shop. Singlespeeds and fixed gears don't belong in a shop. Do it your self. Peice it together and you come up with something desirable. To me this is perfect. Ya I'd like a few more things but it does what I want and appeales to me enough to ride more. Strava check me if you like.

Thanks for your reply. I can't thread the brake nut in, the brake hole is too small? Can you give me your email address I can send the pictures to you! Thanks again.

Hi! NICE BIKE! I have a trek T1 too! but I have a rear brakes problem with it. I can't install that with road bike brakes(sram force). what's wrong with my brakes? you use Cane creek SCR 3, is it entirely fit?

There's nothing wrong with your brakes. I had force on it after the cane creeks. Describe the problem

Sold everything all together besides the wheels, seat and new fork I had just bought. Was a tough decision but provided for a new project.

Nice. What a deal! By the way trek's sizing is always way off; your bike is most likely a 54. Mines a 58 and measures 56.
