Final college bike build ! =D
I bought a HED carbon 60mm rim for 120 and I traded it for a HED 3 tri spoke with 100 on top from the buyer. Got the trispoke for 20 bucks. Had a small crack so I had it repaired by a buddy of mines who worked with carbon before. Repair cost 40 bucks. So total of 60 bucks for a carbon tri spoke =).
Thank you to my cousin Dai Nguyen for taking my newest picture. =)

Your gonna feel much more comfortable on spokes for sure. But I do like the look of a tri spoke. I have one but its cracked. All good though

Yea I got my tri spoke for really cheap and I might not trade for the wheelset since a lot of people said its not worth it . I still have the front felt TKR wheel so I can switch it out :)

Just curious, how does the AL frame and fork combo ride? Is it really that bad? Maybe upgrade to a carbon fork?
Posted over 11 years ago
Honestly, I dont think its that bad at all. Of course its a little heavier than a aluminum frame with a carbon fork but it still rides pretty smooth and I have no complaints =)

And I might upgrade to a carbon fork in the future =). Aha I like to keep the frame and fork matching xD

I wish I could ride a trispoke to college. Then again it's Riverside so I feel like I would get jacked.

Out of curiosity, Did you sell your Fuji for this?
Posted about 11 years ago
dragonup619 says:
Yea I did. I stated that in the description. The fuji had a crack on the seat clamp and it was pretty banged up. So I sold it for 400 and bought this for 250. I like this frameset to be honest. Its pretty smooth if you build it up right.

I see, sorry didn't read the description too carefully. Agreed though, visp frames are smooth if done right. props to you.
