How does 55x17 feel? I been riding 50x13 for 2 years straight wondering if it feels the same?
Posted about 12 years ago
50x13 is probably like, 4 times harder. 1 tooth in the rear is essentially equivalent to 3 teeth in the front. So compare your 50x13 to a 62x17. Hahaha. You've literally been doing that for 2 years? Are you one of those hybrid breeds that can handle gear inches like that on Cat 3 hills? Hahahaa.

Hahaha I guess so man, its super fast though, and I can stop on it no problem

Dude, unfortunately, I purchased the bike without decals from a neighbor! I have no idea how the hell they were removed! And the IRO decals are especially bad ones. :[

seatpost backwards, saddle angled down, and ratios are pretty useless unless youre racing track with it or live in a very flat area.
but it looks good otherwise
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks man! Not a huge fan of the wheels but whatever.
I'm pretty sure that the seatpost is 0 setback. So... There is no backwards.
The saddle was angled down, I fixed it.
And 55 : 17? You can't handle 86 gear inches?
Posted about 12 years ago
lol... the seatpost is backwards, logo is facing the wrong way with the guts flipped. and based on your picture, you don't have chris hoy quads, there's no way you do real climbs with a 55/17.
my facts are perfectly straight.
Posted about 12 years ago
Okay. Who gives a fuck when the logo is technically upside-down be 15 degrees? The seatpost functionally is bidirectional, it doesn't matter.
And you clearly have never ridden with other people before if Chris Hoy quads are required to climb hills with a medium difficulty ratio. I know a guy with tiny ass legs that will whoop you around until you can't even stand anymore. (Not you, Thomas)
I simply said, 'You can't handle 86 gear inches?' Not, 'I ride Cat 1 hills all day on that ratio.'
Obviously, if I'm going on a ride that deems it necessary, I'm going to alter my ratio quite a bit to meet the circumstances.
And you're embarassed? By the look of your 'track bikes' you're the one embarassing us.

You're on the wrong website, kid. Shit talking doesn't typically happen on PedalRoom so grow up and accept that other people out there veiw cycling in quite a different manner than you.
Or go to YouTube.
