Got any other bikes? You should post them up if you do! and this is a sick build man. I wish I had money for the things you have to put on your bike T.T lol

Lol, I don't really have the money either man! I've been working in the cycling industry for 4 years now and you just get connections and hookups as time goes on. Probably invested about $500 into this bike in total!
I actually do have another bike which I built up recently. A road bike, 2011 Giant Defy. I need to add it on but haven't because I actually ended up crashing it earlier this week, about 2 weeks into owning it. Lol.
But still, another good example, full road bike build, $300 invested. :) We don't all have deep pockets... I certainly don't.

how well does the bottle cage hold with those zip ties? i was thinking of doing the same with mine
Posted over 9 years ago
It holds up just fine. The only thing I needed to do was grind out the bottom of the cage so that the the base points were arched and would wrap around the down tube more naturally. Also, I ground the sides of the cage where the zipties over lap so they wouldn't slide around.
It never moves. The only thing that happens is if I'm moving the bike around and the handle bars turn to the side all the way, the drop of the handle bar smacks the water bottle and knocks the cage off to the side of the down tube. It just slides back in place though.

Thanks man! Appreciate that!
I'm actually very happy with how this bike turned out. Have those training wheels there and I'm going to be getting some carbon wheels pretty soon!
