Got a good deal on this classic soviet beauty from a fellow Pedal Room member. I had been wanting to add a soviet bike to my stable for a while. Since its in well used condition it will be built up and ridden heavily. Probably gonna fab up a nice bar mount for my AK47 so I can use it as a hunting commuter during winter.

In the USSR bicycle frames were really shitty as you couldn't really lose your job for doing it badly. But these were made for track cyclists that were professionals on some level and for these there was quality check of some kind. I'm previous owner. Owner before me said that tubing is mismatched as it can be from Meteor/Cnopt/Cnpunt but they are well above average. Decals can be wrong as well, blue color isn't original as there are layers of red you can where it is raw. In conclusion it is a solid bike with tight geometry and wonderful comfort.

it's really was specially made for our track cyclist (as XB3 Velosuper from my favorites bikes list in my profile) from Ukrainian national team (i'am the first owner of this frame after him, I take it from velodrome) decals is original, but color really could initially be red. The full chromed, with double plate crown fork is very rare for XB3, on this frame it can be taken from some Takhion sprint.
Well, it's realy nice ride frame ) love it so much and miss,,
p.s. the seatpost is not XB3, there was only one type of seatposts with 26.2 diameter produced by XB3 (look at my red XB3 in profile).
cheers dudes!
