As far as my research goes, this frame was made by Cinelli for a brief period of time in 1985 but it doesn't have the typical seat stay / seat post bolt set up that is typical of the Supercorsa. When I got it there were no decals on it except for a Columbus sticker on the downtube and was Ferrari Red. The paint was original. There could have been decals at one time that were never clear coated. I had the frame repainted. You might say it's a Equipe but I compared this frame with an Equipe (both frames in hand), and there are noticable differences. Fork crowns are different (Cinelli has integrated crown like all Cinellis from the 80s), all lugs have a slightly different shape and filed way down (Equipes have chrome lugs, this Cinelli does not), clamp on derailleur versus braze on, and the weight of the frames. Cinelli frame is much lighter. Also angle of logo on seat stay. On all Equipes that I have seen logo is perpendicular to seat stay angle, Cinelli has logo same angle as seat stay. Other possibility is Centurion Cinelli Project but once again there seem to be differences, mainly based on the original color. There's no serial # on the bottom bracket shell. One suggestion I got from another site is that it's a custom. Regardless, it rides quite nice.

Lots of shop builds then,as well as build by shops like Romani for specials.Have you looked inside of BB shell or headtube? Nice ride regardless.

Nothing of note inside BB shell or headtube. Only thing I could tell is that it's SL, not SLX.
