And btw. Where are you located? Are you ever going to sell that front wheel because there a few 101 24h hoops on Ebay and I wouldn't wanna get one unless I had the front 82 with matching older decals.
Posted about 12 years ago
hie bro... i'm from malaysia. i had sold the planet x long time ago. looking forward to your new lightweight setup :-)
Posted about 12 years ago

you imran, can you do a quick review of the mantra?? thanks alot man! keep on riding man! ride hard! ride safe!
Posted about 12 years ago
from my experience it is certainly more conmfy than zoncolan... no more numbness...
Posted about 12 years ago
okay man thanks for the quick review, as always ride hard! ride safe!. peace! hahaha

7.2 kg? No way...... >.>
Posted about 12 years ago
yes way ;) the frameset itself weight lighter than cinelli mash, controltech scored 99 is 100 gram, open pro and miche is certainly light, carbon seatpost with zero 100 dropbar. most of the parts i use may not be very fancy but it is definitely lightweight.
Posted about 12 years ago
Hhahahaa, yea dude, I was expecting your bike to be like, 8.15 kg! Hahaha.
Posted about 12 years ago
Wait dude, i dont get why you have to use alot of energy when using your planet x on steep hills .
Posted about 12 years ago
you have to try high deep carbon rim yourself to feel it. i assume it is the carbon flex and high deep.
Posted about 12 years ago
what was the size for your ex visp, katana n kagero ?
Posted over 12 years ago
visp 48 cm c-c (experiment stage, too small), rh+o katana II 54 cm c-c (experiment stage, too big), kagero size small 50cm c-c (experiment stage, i have found my size)... and now i am sticking with size 50cm c-c...

Bitchin' bike man! LOVE the blue chainring bolts! They look so sick! And nice chainring. ;] Check the one I've got in the new pic for my IRO.
And I've always wanted a Planet X wheelset. How do you like that front?
Posted over 12 years ago
haha... thanks man. i just checked out your new iro setup and i like it :-) i would love to see it in black pearl izumi chain, black headset and maybe cover up the brake lining with black tape and you will have a one hell of a dark knight machine. the planet x is all that smooth on normal road but when it comes to steep hills i have to use a lot of energy.

How're you liking your ratio with the massive 55T? I had a 54T and i hated it haha.
Posted over 12 years ago
55/18=3.06 ratio is still ok. i know that most ppl will say oh wow what a big chainring ppl using but they also need to see the cog size. ratio is another thing. for me anything nearer to 3 is ok. i have tried 50/15=3.33 ratio and it was very hard to pedal on the uphill but it was nice to ride in the velodrome. yeah, 3.06 is just nice.
Posted over 12 years ago
yeah i had 54/17. but i felt like i was pedaling with a lot of effort but not going as fast as i wanted. :\
Posted over 12 years ago
Wow... 54/17=3.176 ratio... quite heavy for me too... maybe you can try 18t cog and you can have 3 ratio...
Posted over 12 years ago
where do you got that mavic rim?
Posted over 12 years ago
i got it from ebay a few years back. it is called mavic open pro cd if you want to search for it :-)
Posted over 12 years ago
JESUS MAN, that zen is fucking huge. How do your knees manage?
Posted over 12 years ago
haha yeah... although the chainring is big but my cog is 18t. 55/18=3.06 ratio is still ok.

Are This Frame Better than kagero???
Posted over 12 years ago
the only different between this frame and kagero is the weight... this frame is way lighter... which mean better during climbing...
Posted over 12 years ago
sooo badass. saddens me that my mk1 got stolen
Posted over 12 years ago
thanks man... yeah saddens me too after reading your page... what was the color of your ld labs? i wanted to get the same color as yours but i seems it is limited and out of stock. was it aluminum anodize?
Posted over 12 years ago
How stiff is this frame?
Posted over 12 years ago
the feeling of riding on this frame is like riding cinelli mash or vigorelli but lighter...
Posted over 12 years ago
bro gw mau nanya dnk klo gw mau psen LD Labs yah bsa kirim ke beijing ga hohoho :D
Posted over 12 years ago

Nice LD!
u should let me have your carbon pedals
Posted over 12 years ago
thanks bro... i love your 722 heritage too... especially your bling bling h+son rims;) and haha sorry i cant give you my pedals... i am loving it because it has better stability than my keo plus...
Posted over 12 years ago
Nice build man. You should slam that stem of yours, I'm going to slam my stem soon! :D
Posted over 12 years ago
hey bro... haha... sorry but i dont think i am going to slam the stem because when you have different angle positions with the same speed i prefer the position that optimizes my back comfy...
Posted over 12 years ago
nice! one quick question, whats your height? i'm interested to buy one of these (my other choice is mash bolt) but cant decide on which size im going to buy, 50/53 :) i'm 171 btw
Posted over 12 years ago
hie... my height is 168cm and this frame size is 50cm centre to centre. in my opinion, the most suitable frame size for you is 50/ 51 cm. i totally recommend you to buy this frameset other than mash bolt due to its cheaper pricing and weight wise. if you want brand naming go for mash bolt. for me there has been a lot of people using cinelli, leader bike and kagero thats why i decided to get this frameset.

Don't really like 'modern' but I do like this one : )
Posted over 12 years ago
haha.. thanks bro i am flattered. in the future i might get a classic frame after looking at your marinoni, amamin's kalavinka and the nasty nagasawa frame. they totally looks classy and elegance.
Posted over 12 years ago
too sick man !
Posted over 12 years ago
hey bro...
thanks for the compliment ;DDD
i would like to see your ride in pedalroom too...
new or old/ pretty or ugly i dont mind ;)
Posted over 12 years ago
Yo imran! how's the frame treatin ya? feel good?
love you build man, and the kagero too :)
Posted over 12 years ago
hie bro :-) i would say the frame can fly... really fly... its aluminium is thin and solid... you can feel the tarmac*ggrrrrrrr* and if hit the bump it sound *thud*... less vibrating absorbtion than kagero... thanks for the compliment :-) are you from prapanca team and winner's friend???
Posted over 12 years ago
wow, its a sound a very solid frame, and yes im a prapanca's rider, i photograph winner's bike and the other team member. technicaly im the photographer :)
Posted over 12 years ago

Posted over 12 years ago
Comel la sepeda ni.. cam ribena jer :D :D
Posted over 12 years ago
hie bro... yes it is certainly lighter than kagero because of the different type of aluminium and easton full carbon fork... and oh ya the frame also lighter than cinelli mash... come to jun's shop to judge for yourself...
Posted over 12 years ago
Nice one, do you like your ratio like this ?
Posted over 12 years ago
