gorgeous ride, Stay with new Mavics,they just look so right on this. Aero rims would cross eras and look out of place. How do those shifters work? I have some from about the same age,thousands of miles and they work better all the time.

thanks, the shifters work perfectly, I got the bike recently so i don't really know how many miles it's been ridden, but it looks like a lot of them :) i found a NOS pair of black Campagnolo Omega V rims and i was thinking to get them instead of the classic mavic open pro... any thoughts?

ahahha thanks, that's true, rims are first on the "restoration list" :D
thinking of a pair of shamal or zonda, but dunno if they are too aggressive for this frame...
