Uncertain if these frames / bikes were offered in the US, but a few CRTI and CRD framesets slipped into the US. Built in Taiwan seemingly by the same people that built the 2020 Forty year anniversary TI Team commemoratives sold in Europe only. This bike is built with a mix of Reynolds 531 / 4130 Cro-Mo. Esthetically it is much more representative of the original SBDU frames I lusted over back in 1976 .Offered in Japan for 3 years and not sure if available today. The build quality,paint and decals all under clearcoat is absolutely flawless. The modern 40 year commemoratives while built with Reynolds 753 tubing, apparently misses the mark in so many other areas.
