I built this from the ground up using a District Carbon frame that I purchased secondhand. I needed something that could survive my beach commute, but also wanted something fun to ride, which led my in the direction of a belt drive. Despite not being geared, it rides like a dream, is silent, and is a blast.

Wish it was fixed but still an amazing bike!

Me too, but with the way the dropouts are engineered I'm not sure it's possible. I've looked into it a bit, and if someone from Trek confirmed it would be fine fixed, I'd covert it in a heartbeat.

I read somewhere that Gates belt drives could be fixed but im sure that'd require a whole new hub and more expenses lol

The belt can be fixed for sure - my other District is fixed, and it's awesome. The dropouts on this frame are different though, and I'm not sure they can take the pressure of backpedaling, though I might be wrong.
