Cilo track edition

I used to race crits and track with only one bike but after meticiously sanding down and repainting my carbon track rocket I was worried it might get damaged during a crash at a crit. So looked out for a cheap alloy frame but my full carbon uci frameset with seatpost, headset etc. only cost 600$! An allez track frameset for example, costs astonishing 1'400$. It is basicly impossible to find a cheaper alloy frame than my carbon one. Even the 8Bar Neukln Steel Frameset kosts more. Lucky me, I found this ex pro track bike online for a reasonable 200$ and decided to build it up in all black classic parts. Visualy you can't go wrong with Sugino 75dd crank and Ellipse wheelset.

unfortunately frames like these are better suited for a traditional crankset and bottom bracket style i have found :(

Best way is to crimp the chainstay

to crimp both chainstays at 4 places on an alloy frame doesn't seem to be the best way imo

True.. even with heat there's a chance of cracking the frame
