Spiced it up with some yellow details. The seatpost had been slipping for 4 years and the clamp finally gave up so I had to modify the Gipiemme seatpost to work with a quill.

Nice bike, man. What is the wheelbase?

Haven't measured... I've been meaning to pull out a halflink to tighten up the rear end after I removed the fenders but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll get back to you on that one. It is tight, that's for sure.

I don't know how you managed to fit fenders in there, but props to you! Love how this bike looks. Well loved!

Well loved is pretty spot on. Still my favourite and just a Gipiemme pista wheelset away from retirement so stay tuned. Sunny days await!

Great looking clean build, wicked geo all round and i love the fender placement!

Thanks! Definitely the most balanced geometry I've ever ridden even if the frame could be a couple of cm's taller.

What's the seatpost size/diameter?
Posted almost 12 years ago
The frames been through some rough times. Seattube opening resembels an oval more than a circle... Right now I have 25.0mm post with 2-3 layers of beercan shim. I think a 25.8mm seatpost would fit if I reamed the seattube opening. It's on the to-do list once I find a suitable Gipiemme seatpost.

^ agreed. add to that a character enhancing level of wear & tear w/o taking away from the bike or it's daily functionality all adds up to great fun. the colors really make this stand out as well, from the gumwalls to the yellow bits, along w/ those cruiser bars & eyelet rims, this is a stellar bad boy build
