Rossin Pursuit

Quite rare to find a pursuit frame in one's size made from Columbus MAX. Stiff as aluminium, smooth as steel and heavy as lead. Built up with a mixed Dura-Ace group. This one was repainted in Bianchi livery due to a sponsorship deal a Finnish cycling team made in the early 90's. Possible repaint in the future.

Frame:
Rossin, 62x54,5, Columbus MAX

Fork/Headset:
Rossin Columbus MAX/Dura-Ace 7400

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Dura-Ace 7600 165mm/Dura-Ace 7610

Pedals:
Dura-Ace 7400/Toshi straps

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Dura-Ace 7600 16t & EAI 17t/Dura-Ace 7600 47t/D.I.D./Dura-Ace 7600 lockrings

Handlebars/Stem:
3TTT Moscow/Dura-Ace 7400 100mm

Saddle/Seatpost:
Selle Italia Flite/Dura-Ace 7400

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Mavic CXP14/Dura-Ace 7710/DT Competition/Conti Gatorskin

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Mavic CXP14/Dura-Ace 7710/DT Competition/Conti Gatorskin Hardshell

More Info:
Some shithead kicked my front fork or backed his car up against it. Both fork legs dented and slightly misaligned. Also more Dura-Ace bits. Pretty much done.

i clearly recognize that. i was simply singing the color's praises. but what were you thinking?

2pwsmith was probably thinking that no Rossin should ever be painted in this god awful colour as it is signature Bianchi. Can't find repros of the original transfers so I'll probably go for white with red transfers instead of the original pearlescent white with purple/baby blue transfers.

Very nice bike. Congrats ! I have a question.
What spoke width are you using ? I have a difficulty to fit 14g spokes into DuraAce 7710 spoke holes.

Thanks.
I use regular 2.0/1.8/2.0mm DT Swiss Competition spokes. I think that's 14/15/14 in gauge and they fit just fine.

In the meantime I'll be riding it like I always do. MAX blades are strong enough.

Haven't really done anything about it yet. Too little time. But the fork crown and dropouts are good to go so just need to replace the fork blades. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Both Pelizzoli and Orlowski have MAX fork blades in stock. Also a good excuse to get the frame repainted ;)

Did you even read the description? It was repainted in the early nineties because of a sponsorship deal.

The risers are actually really comfortable. Not the backbreaker it looks like. Thanks
