This frame is one of the smoothest riding frames I've ridden. It soaks up bumps in the road really well and makes for a nice relaxing ride.

i have some on mine. i think there is definitely a difference as far as them being snug on your feet. you have a better sense of security. i would recommend them.

I agree with sergsucks, they definitely make my feet feel more snug/secure in the straps.
