Too sick! Was this a custom build from Low? It seems they only make 59cm pursuit frames now.

Tall and handsome! White decals on silver frame is lush, much better than flashy ones imo.

It's currently getting an even more subtle paint job. I'll post pics as soon as I put it together. It's going to be my track sprint bike, so I wanted it to be a bit less flashy.

Great! Keep me posted.
Your previous on-one setup was great, too.

I have a new SSCX on the way as well. I'm down to just those two bikes. If the new SSCX fits well, I'll get the geared version in the spring.

Great build!
What kind of risers are this?
Posted over 10 years ago
There were two pairs, ones were Crank Brothers Cobalt and the others were Pro MTB Risers.

Tall bikes for tall people. Very nice and classic build. Support your local velodrome!

You are a GIANT! Great LOW//..one of the best I've seen. 8 more weeks til mine comes in!

The eager awaiting of your Low is always intense. Thanks for the compliments. I don't know what kind of kit it is, I got it somewhere in the US. Don't recall where.

It looks awesome. If the first pic is the final product, please keep it that way. I'm pretty sure you might change some things, upgrade, etc. but it looks soooo beautiful as it is. I've gone back and looked at this like 10 times today haha. Favorited!

I have 2 upgrades planned, new wheel set (Phil Wood LF and H+Son Archetype) and a new saddle (Fizik Kurve Snake) that I will make at some point. That's all though. The rest of the bike is how I want it.

Dope! Your low makes me wish I was super tall. Everything looks so balanced aesthetically, seat height, stem length, etc. You should take this for a professional photo shoot once you've upgraded everything :)
Posted over 11 years ago
Will do. Probably even before the upgrades, as I may not make those for a little while. I have another build that has my funds going to it.

Where can I get that kit?
Posted over 11 years ago
I have no idea. I picked it up somewhere in the US, don't remember where. It was on a 2 month road trip.

Nice bike! One question, do you really ride randos on the track?
Posted almost 12 years ago
That was my first time at the track (which is a 2 hour drive away from me). The rando is more for the streets, but as it's still way too cold and snowy out here to ride outside, I just leave it on in preparation for warmer weather.

Risers and clips is gnarly man, light as air.
Favorite LOW i've seen

looks good with the risers
Posted almost 12 years ago
It does look good, but running road shoes with risers is an odd situation.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I agree, but I have my MTB pedals on another bike, and as I have road pedals, may as well put them to use on a bike.

Wow! LOWs look so nice in large sizes!!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yeah, I'm really happy with it. I swapped out that saddle and put a chain on in the meantime.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Nice !
How long did you have to wait ?
Posted almost 12 years ago
There were some issues, so my wait doesn't reflect the normal wait. I take it that is why you ask that question.

i have heard that running a 3/32 chainring does elude to straighter and possibly more efficent performance..but only on the track. a few Cat 1-2 racers where throwing 3/32 rings on their Omniums.(one said because it was lighter) This still makes no sense to me. Please explain.
Posted almost 12 years ago
I had a bike that I was running SS and Fixed, and I have a White Industries (3/32) freewheel, so I wanted compatibility between all of my bikes. I won't run this bike with a freewheel, but I will use these wheels (and the cogs) with another bike that also has 3/32". It was all about compatibility for me.

C'mon, where are the pics?
Posted almost 12 years ago
One pic for now, I will put the rest up once I take some more with an actual camera.
Posted almost 12 years ago
yessssss I've been waiting so long to see what a large sized low looks like. GET PICTURES UP NOW!!
Posted almost 12 years ago
Hahaha, will do. I think the seat post I got (410mm) is too long, but it's all good.
