After cleaning up this one and making it rideable, I decided not to do a facelift restoration but rather, preserve what is there. A refinish would make it no longer original and there is much here that is worth saving. The pinstriping would be very hard for me to reproduce. Still presentable for such an oldie. Those old, rusty cables had to go.

You really don't see many of these '60s Pugs and this is a wonderful example.

This is the coolest bike. I get favorable comments wherever we go. Check out the purple one too. These were both once owned and ridden daily by a couple in Los Angeles decades ago.

These old Pugs have the best lugs ever, so amazing craftsmanship. :) This bike truly is a beauty.

Thanks so much. It's gratifying to find so many people who appreciate these old relics. Modern bikes are very fast company and these guys have a hard time keeping up but they are so beautiful and I love them.
