This appears to be one of the first run of PY 10s made by the Prestige Peugeot factory. The serial # is 037 74. Prototype or team bike? It may have been ridden in the 1975 Tour de France which was won by Bernard Thevenet. I can't confirm that he rode this one. I found it on a British website years ago and have used it as a reference for my own builds. It was recently listed on eBay and I just had to have it. I've left all the scratches and chips. Maybe I'll repair them later but I prefer it original even with the blemishes.

If I was to ignore my No French bikes rule yet again …. Your PY would be hard to pass on. The PXN10 LE and PXN10E in my past soured me some but You've got a real beauty there.

The PX10LE is a very fine bike. French bikes have their own particular quirks. Proper setup is important to make them perform well.
