1975 Peugeot UO 8 (SOLD)

I got this bike because she so obviously needed saving after going through several owners, lots of neglect and multiple amateur re-paints. My intention was to restore and sell but I just couldn't let her go. 16 jun 16 I BROKE DOWN AND SOLD HER TO A GOOD HOME

What paint did you use to restore that green? Been searching for a while to match but nothing is doing the job.

The brand is Testors. They make paint for models. Available at any good hobby shop. Then a polyurethane clear coat to give it a hard, durable finish. Also, an automotive body shop can match the color. Hope this helps.

So just the regular green gloss paint from Testors?

It's a green metallic. I don't remember if it's called lime green or emerald green but the cap on the can should help you to match the color. Make sure you get metallic.

What can I say? I have a thing for Frenchies. The Peugeot UO 8, while not top of the line, is still my absolute favorite ride.
