This bike came to me in a purchase, originally green with Shimano "tricolor" components. I rebuilt it and traded it to a friend for a super favor. He traded it back when he bought a Cannondale, and I built it again. My friend Kirk saw some potential, and bought the frame. He sold it, but the guy reneged on the deal, so Kirk decided that was a sign he should at least take a shot at it. The result is stunning, and I can definitely say it rides much better than Kestrel envisioned in 1994. Just an amazing ride.
