One of the originals. Lots of challenges to building this with anything modern. This is for light 2-3 day touring.
Frame:
861 Aluminum (Klein spec) frame, approx 55x56 cm.
Fork/Headset:
Performance carbon 1" threaded fork / Innicycle headset/stem adapter.
Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano RSX compact triple crankset / Suntour Superbe Pro press-fit square taper BB (symmetrical).
Pedals:
Shimano PD-A600
Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Ultegra 11-28 10-sp cassette / 48/36/26 FSA rings / SRAM 1071 chain.
Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano/Dura Ace FD7730-R triple FD / Shimano Deore XT M760 RD (reverse pull) / Shimano Dura Ace SL7800 2/3 x 10 down tube shifters. Mounted on modified backing plates, screwed and glued to the aero mounting tab.
Saddle/Seatpost:
Prologo Nago Evo X10 saddle / Dura Ace 27.4 seat post.
Brakes:
Shimano Tiagra calipers / Soma brake levers
Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
VeloMax Circuit wheel / Clement Strada LG 700x28
Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
VeloMax Circuit wheel / Clement Strada LG 700x28.
Accessories:
Cannondale wrap.
Roswheel seat bag.
Louis Garneau Oxford front bag. Modified the mount to run a lower height. Looking for another bag that fits that mount (larger)
Red Planet Bike bottle cages.
Looking at fenders.
Nashbar panniers. Trunk bag not pictures.
More Info:
VeloCals provided the decals. I could use a head tube decal, but didn't want to spend the extra $.
I can now run this in light 2-3 day mode, lighter overnight mode (with just the trunk bag and front bag) or even lighter with no bags (at 22 lbs).
