This was my first serious road bike. I bought it when I was a sophomore in high school as a birthday present for myself when I turned 16. I saved up all my summer money working at a bike shop and a deli. This bike was great. Despite being a base model Roubaix with an aluminum frame, it had a similar geometry as the carbon ones. Nowadays, its called a Secteur. The only difference is that this was called a Roubaix with Columbus SLX E5 tubing, whatever that means. It originally had all 105 parts, but I gradually replaced all of it with Ultegra. I also replaced the wheels with Fulcrum Racing 5 Evo wheelset. I had so many good memories on this bike. I ended up trading this bike for a Santa Cruz Chameleon in 2012 because I was simply not riding it enough. I was busy with school and I was riding my Soma Doublecross more.
