More Info:
I bought this bike new in November of 1987 as a replacement for my Klunker; if you are not familiar with Klunkers, see Charlie Kelly's website at http://sonic.net/~ckelly/Seekay/mtbwelcome.htm . The bike shop let me try a Stumpjumper and then this bike; other than price, there was little or no difference. It was a great sales pitch. Being a roadie, this bike has filled my simple mountain bike needs for over 30 years.
