2020 New Albion Homebrew

A modern steel, retro style, road bike with mounts for racks and fenders. A good compromise for long road rides, touring or commuting. More useful and comfortable than a race bike; yet still a fast road bike. The bike has now been converted to a 750W E-Bike.

TIG-welded, Tange Champion Number 2 and Prestige butted CrMo tubes

Fork/Headset:
Threadless 1 1/8 Tange Champion Number 2 with Lugged crown, double eyelets at dropouts, mini-rack mounts

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Holdsworth drillium rings 50x34

Pedals:
Velo Orange Quill

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
9 speed Shimano / 50x34

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano Deore / Retroflex shifters

Handlebars/Stem:
Velo Orange Randonneur / UNO stem

Saddle/Seatpost:
Brooks C17 Carved / Uno two bolt seatpost

Brakes:
Tektro

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
700c Sun C18 clincher / Shimano hub / 700x28 Vittoria Randonneur II

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
700c Sun C18 clincher / Shimano hub / 700x28 Vittoria Randonneur II

I built this one to be a comfortable ride (for my old age). The bike has now been converted to a 750W E-Bike.
