More Info:
In 1988 Peugeot offered a Reynolds 753 frameset as well as a complete bike they named Chorus after the Campagnolo Chorus group-set with which it was equipped. I bought this bike as a used frameset and can only guess if it was ordinarily sold as a frameset or a complete Chorus bike. Noting that the Chorus name is not on the top tube I suspect it may have been originally sold as a frameset. Wanting a triple, I built the bike with an early Campagnolo Veloce group-set. This bike is not meant to be a museum piece but rather a good rider; hence the triple. I used friction shifters as early Campagnolo indexed shifting was not all that great and I hate bifters. The 58 C-C frame is absolutely the largest I can ride, hence the very low saddle height.
