Bought 11-9-15. Sold 7-11-15. Bought a horrible looking bike (see the last pics) with Halo Aerotrack wheels, Cinelli Pepper riser bars etc. - Tried my best to restore the whole thing to something less hipster and more fun. Wheels makes this as close to "Nuke-proof" as possible. Enjoy!

Current Stage Info:
I threw everything off, including the ugly & shitty crankset and bb and started all over - gave the bike a proper treatment with boat polish "until it shone like a diamond". Then i started reflecting on how i wanted to build it up. I cut the fork and chose the wheels and then i decided i wanted to try out a flat-bar - so i bought one from a guy in Copenhagen and suddenly an other guy sold a seatpost & two stems - matching of course - so i needed to get them too... Here we are, hope you like it!

this is just like the before and after shots of when they rescue neglected animals and then they get healthy and strong again

It just warms my heart... one day I hope I have the time/money to do what you do

Actually it helps me fund my bikes. I buy these things, build them differently, shoot them and sell them on. It's pretty easy, fun, pays well (sometimes) and best of all you get to #savethetrackbike.. ;)

hey man, is this magic xm319 a 700c right? not those mtb rim?
Posted over 8 years ago
It's 700c but built for discs. So it's a pretty rough rim that can take a beating!

great build. I might suggest plugging the brake mount holes(plastic plugs). Or better yet mount a front brake. But your bike, your choice, hella nice ride.

Thanks man - yeah that's up to the new owner now :-(. I've bought a new beater, the first and probably last fixed gear I'm ever gonna disgrace with a brake ;-) But thanks a lot again!
