If you know a thing or two about vintage Canadian racing bikes, you should know Marinoni. Giuseppe Marinoni is a legend, he is one of Canada's best, if not the best master steel bicycle frame builder. He was trained building bicycles under Mario Rossin and he sweats rust he has built bicycles for so long! A passionate cyclist and Italian immigrant who came to Canada with nothing, only to build one of the best bike companies ever, close to Montreal. If you haven't taken the time to see the Marinoni Movie, I'd highly recommend it. In the Marinoni Catalogue, the Piuma is described as " The Piuma frames are built one by one according to our clients specifications. The Genius tube set makes the Piuma a true racing machine, we suggest this model to serious cyclists who are looking for the best in a steel frame. The Piuma is light, stiff and durable."
